mate.travel is an online platform that offers a variety of tools and resources to help travellers plan their vacation or their schedule (if they live here already) on Koh Samui, Koh Phangan or Koh Tao. This includes 6 powerful search engines to find partner businesses, day passes, tours, events, classes & activities and services; an online magazine, and coming soon its own community to connect with other travellers.
To access discounts and perks, you must become a member by purchasing one of our membership plans. With mate.travel, you can enjoy exclusive discounts from our partner businesses across all the islands.
Our community is a place for members to engage and connect with other families, couples, friends who live on Koh Samui, Koh Phangan or Koh Tao or are planning their vacation here. You can share ideas, ask for recommendations, and connect with other families for playdates and family-oriented activities.
We have a powerful Event search engine that allows you to search for events happening on the islands. You can filter by date, location, and type of event to find the perfect activity for you.
The mate.travel Affiliate Program is a partnership opportunity where you can earn commission by referring customers to mate.travel. When your referrals make a booking or purchase through our platform, you receive a percentage of the sale.
To join, visit mate.travel Affiliate Program and complete the application form. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you’ll receive access to your affiliate dashboard.
mate.travel’s membership program caters to families, couples, solo travellers and group of friends travelling or living on Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. It comes in 3 different plans. You can opt for weekly, monthly or yearly membership plans, whichever suits you best.Â
To become a member, simply purchase any of the available membership plans. This will give you access to amazing discounts, all the Finders, and the private Discord server to connect with other users.
The word “mate” actually stands for “most amazing time ever.” And, as our name suggests, mate.travel is all about moving and experiencing the best stuff!

We accept payments through PayPal and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Please note that refunds are not automatically granted due to potential abuse. However, we review such requests on a case-by-case basis.
When your paid membership expires, your account will automatically be downgraded to the FREE plan.Â
You can easily delete your account through the My Account page on our website.
The exact savings depend on the specific bookings you make, but many members find that they easily recover the cost of the membership with just one booking, often saving more on top of that.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your membership once your current membership expires.
No, not all places listed in the Finders offer discounts. Only our partner businesses provide exclusive discounts to our members. These businesses are marked with a partner ribbon and the discounts are clearly stated where applicable.
A single membership covers up to 3 adults and 4 children (under 18 years old). If your group is larger, you’ll need additional plans. For example, a group of 4 adults requires two plans, as does a group with 1 adult and 5 children. A group of 7 adults will need at least 3 memberships.
Your membership must be active when you settle any bill, reservation, or payment, whether it’s an online payment made ahead of time or settling the bill on-site. If your membership expires before you arrive, it won’t be valid for discounts on-site, unless you renew it.
Yes, the discounts offered by our partner businesses may change. We negotiate the best deals for you, but the partners reserve the right to modify or withdraw these offers as they see fit. That said, we are constantly adding to our partner network, so you will also see new and exciting discounts being introduced!
