These Terms and Conditions define the agreement between mate.travel (“we”, “our”, or “us”) and the business or organisation (“you” or “your”) registering for a mate.pro membership.
By joining as a Biz Member, you agree to the following terms:
The mate.pro membership is free and provides access to listing tools and platform features for promoting your services on mate.travel. All commercial listings submitted under your membership must meet the platform’s requirements: a fixed price and direct bookability through mate.travel. Community listings such as landmarks, fundraisers, markets, and social activities are exempt from pricing and commission requirements and remain free to list.
You are responsible for submitting accurate and complete details for each listing, including pricing, availability, service descriptions, and any applicable restrictions. You must inform us promptly of any changes that may affect the accuracy or delivery of your listed services. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any listing that contains intentionally misleading or inaccurate information. We may also edit listing text and images for clarity, consistency, and tone, but will never alter pricing or key terms of the offer without your explicit consent.
By submitting a commercial listing under your mate.pro membership, you agree to the separate Commission-Based Premium Listing Agreement that applies to all listings except community listings. This agreement outlines our standard commission, collected from the customer as a deposit during the booking process. Listings must be clear, fixed-price offerings to be eligible for inclusion on the platform.
You must honour all bookings confirmed through the mate.travel platform. Bookings may be managed through either our automatic or semi-automatic booking system. Once a booking is confirmed, you are responsible for providing the service, communicating with the customer, and handling any operational matters. mate.travel will not intervene in service delivery or customer experience beyond the scope of the deposit and booking facilitation.
5. Service Standards and Conduct
As a Biz Member, you are expected to maintain a high standard of service and treat all mate.travel users professionally and respectfully. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold any required licences, permits, or insurance for the services you offer. You agree not to use your mate.pro membership or the mate.travel platform to engage in any unlawful, deceptive, or harmful conduct. If we receive repeated complaints or reports of misconduct, we may suspend or remove your listing or membership without notice.
You grant mate.travel permission to use your business name, logo, and related assets to promote your listing on the platform and its related marketing channels. This includes email, social media, blog features, printed guides, and partner promotions. Any creative content produced by mate.travel for marketing purposes remains the intellectual property of mate.travel.
You agree to handle any customer data you receive through mate.travel in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Customer data received through mate.travel may only be used for the direct purpose of fulfilling a confirmed booking and related communication. It must not be used for unsolicited marketing unless the customer has provided separate, explicit consent. You must not misuse or share customer information without authorisation. mate.travel follows data protection protocols in line with Thai and international standards.
You may terminate your mate.pro membership at any time by notifying us via email at partners@mate.travel. We may also suspend or terminate your membership at our discretion if you breach these terms or if your listing no longer meets platform requirements. In all cases, any confirmed bookings must still be honoured under the original conditions.
Upon termination, you must stop using any mate.travel branding or promotional assets. Your listing and profile may be removed or hidden from public view. However, historical content such as blogs, articles, newsletters, or guides that previously featured your business may remain part of mate.travel’s archived or published materials. This content will not be actively promoted post-termination but may remain visible as part of our editorial record.
mate.travel acts solely as a discovery and booking platform. You are fully responsible for the service you provide, including all safety, legal, and operational aspects. mate.travel is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from your business operations, staff, equipment, or customer experiences. You agree to indemnify mate.travel against any such claims, damages, or legal actions resulting from your activities or listings.
The mate.travel platform and mate.pro membership are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, flawless functionality, or suitability for every user or business.
You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by your staff or authorised representatives. You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend access if misuse or security risks are detected.
mate.travel may update these terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes by email with reasonable prior notice. Continued use of the mate.pro membership after changes are published confirms your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you may terminate your membership.
Biz Members may also change the details of their listings or offers at any time. However, such changes must be communicated to mate.travel in writing before being implemented, to ensure accurate representation on the platform
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Thai courts.
By registering as a mate.pro Biz Member and submitting your information, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
